About Us/Philosophy
The groundwork to open St.Pierre
Center for Massage was set in motion years before the doors opened.
Years earlier Michelle St.Pierre and her father Rick St.Pierre embarked
on another project together which ended when Michelle received a college
scholarship as a softball pitcher. Then in August 2005 when Michelle
approached her dad Rick to be her partner for this Napa Spa startup they
knew they could count on each other to make St.Pierres’ Napa’s quality
day spa. Now, four years later they are providing many high quality,
therapeutic and pampering massages and spa treatments each year to Napa
locals and other Napa visitors.
Rick St.Pierre is an accomplished
International businessman with a history of success in both his
professional and his personal life. His approach to business is
grounded in ethics, solid strategic planning, and exceptional customer
satisfaction.
Michelle St.Pierre was awarded a pitching
scholarship to attend St.Mary’s College for softball and graduated with a
degree in Business Administration in 1998. After working as a
professional sales person, she attended and graduated from California
School of Herbal Studies and then the New York Institute of Massage.
After completing her studies and an internship at a local Napa spa,
Michelle made self care through massage a focus of her life.
Combining Michelle’s interest in alternative medicine
with Rick’s business background they developed the upscale concept of
St.Pierre Center for Massage, Inc. and in April of 2006 opened the
wellness oriented massage center.
The calming interior of the St.Pierre Center was designed by
Evelyn St.Pierre, wife of Rick. Evelyn is passionate about her belief
that carefully chosen design elements goes further to creating pleasing
environments than does expensive furnishings.
Evelyn expressed her vision of a tranquil environment at
St.Pierres through her selection of dark cocoa colored walls, shades of
green, simple furnishings, organic textures and fountains helping to
create a soothing environment in unison with nature. The art work
through out St.Pierres was conceived and fashioned by Evelyn, and
consists of hand painted linen wall hangings, framed pieces of nature
including leaves, branches and sprigs of field grass.
At St.Pierres’, the 4-Seasons standard of customer care is the
interest of Steve Kline, Michelle’s husband. A local business man,
Steve is also the owner/operator of Buena Tierra Vineyards’, a
consulting and contracting concern located for many years in the
Napa Valley.
Steve says his passion is “to see each customer leave St.Pierres’ happy
to be treated like this is their place”. Supporting Michelle and Dugan
their son is Steve’s “number one priority”. After that Steve’s
business interests take center stage.
Rick and Michelle look forward to continuing to offer high quality
treatments to people who live in and visit the Napa Valley for years to
come. St.Pierres’ offers therapeutic and pampering massage, detoxifying
healthful full body treatments, cleansing and pampering facials and
therapeutic soothing reflexology.
